Here’s a testimonial from our best girl, Andrea
Once in a while, blow your own damn mind
I want to show every single woman that they are gorgeous just the way they are. I want for every woman to believe that their "flaws" are what make them unique. They're the things that our significant others find so beautiful, they're the trophies from carrying children or losing weight, they are tattoos that you regret but can still find beauty in, they are a few extra pounds of "happy weight" as my Mom calls it. I never want a woman to come to the studio and apologize for her body. Pretty please embrace that shit and know that you are fierce, beautiful, loved and way more than enough.
As for our men, society puts so much pressure on you to be masculine, tough, and sturdy. You deserve a break. In here you don’t have to be any of those things or you can be all of them. Be whoever and whatever you want to be, just for today (and then again every day after that.)
And for everyone else who doesn’t like categories...me either. Lets do whatever we want and be super proud of it. I’m all in, Boo.
Why I Chose Boudoir
The very first time I was asked to shoot boudoir, I didn't even know what it was. My first “Client” was a friend of mine who wanted a groom's gift but didn't want a stranger taking them. When we began, we were both super nervous. Fast forward 30 minutes and we were both laughing, her confidence was through the roof and she was looking SO GOOD! By the end of the session, she was beaming with confidence, her spirits were high and she felt more beautiful than ever. I knew then that this was what I wanted to do, that I had found my calling. I knew that I wanted to make people feel like that every day, to show them how fierce, beautiful, handsome and powerful they are. Boudoir forever has my heart and soul.
My favorite part of the boudoir experience is the radical change that I see in my clients. When they step into the studio, most of them have never been photographed before, much less in this state of undress so they are nervous and probably thinking, "what have I gotten myself into?" By the end, every single client is strutting their stuff, striking poses, nerves are a thing of the past and their confidence is through the roof. You can see the change as we go through their images. Beginning shy and unsure and ending the badass that they are.
