As promised, some more images from our amazing day in our yellow field! I'm always amazed at how comfortable people are with themselves. I completely snagged Kelly, she came with one of the other photographers but when she learned what we were doing, she jumped right in without hesitation and boy is she gorgeous! Working with other photographers and sharing the space, models and tips is one of my favorite things. Learning from some of the best.
Read 15 Books {30 Before 30}
I've always loved reading - for myself. I refused to read a book if someone told me to or a teacher made me, but for myself, I would pick up any book and just get lost. I have a giant closet FULL of unread books and it is my goal to read them faster than I buy them so that my closet becomes empty and they all move to shelves where they deserve to live with the rest of my already read books. Katelyn {Outdoor Boudoir Session}
A bunch of photographers in the area discovered this AMAZING field filled with yellow flowers and we took a group of models out to test it out. And holy potato chips Batman. There were flower crowns, bouquets, and a fair amount of sneezing. This girl is always up for anything and so what started out as a regular session turned into outdoor boudoir and I'm so glad it did! Keep watching for a few weeks worth of sessions here before the summer comes and it goes away!
Meet the Crew {Lingerie Guide} - Ruby Slippers
One of my very favorite items in the studio are my rhinestone ruby red heels. They were purchased as my bridesmaid's shoes for my friend's wedding and have migrated their way into the studio! They hold a very special place in my heart in addition to being a SUPER beautiful pair of shoes. They are a gorgeous red satin with rhinestones along the bottom and the heel. Perfect to give black or white lingerie a pop of color or to match with a red piece. Size 6.
Marcella {Boudoir Session Mini Series} Part 3
Continuing on in the Marcella mini series, we came to a Valentine's Day session. We broke out the red sheets and tried something a little different. As always, she was radiating confidence and was as beautiful as they come. The red sheets only come out for special occasions. Meet the Crew {Lingerie Guide} - Pop of Pink Heels
Our Pop of Pink heels are some of our favorite shoes in the studio. They are gold glitter pumps featuring 5 inch heels for added drama. They are full of life and bring a smile to everyone who sees them. They have a little surprise for you though - pink bottoms! Now, I've always loved the red bottomed black heels but this unique twist on that makes these shoes one-of-a-kind. They're waiting for you at the studio! Size 6.
Marcella {Boudoir Session Mini Series} Part 2
A month after our first session, Marcella was back at the studio for a Valentine's Day session. With a red comforter freshly added to our studio, we had a great time trying out some new things. With just as much confidence as the first time, she tackled the hardest of poses with ease and left me in awe of how easily we created the most beautiful art together. There was no going back, we were meant to work together.
Meet the Crew {Lingerie Guide} Makers Mark
Props are not always clothes, jewelry and shoes, sometimes it comes in whiskey bottles! Or wine or rum, pick your poison. What's your favorite brand? Bring a bottle and we can incorporate it into your session. And maybe drink a little too! This Maker's Mark bottle is part of the studio or you may bring something that is more to your liking. Marcella {Boudoir Session Mini Series} Part 1
Sometimes a client walks into the studio and I just know that it's going to be a good fit. Marcella walked into my studio a few years ago and we had the best session that I had had up to that point. She was amazingly confident, took directions like a pro, and was up for literally anything I asked her to do. It was the start of a beautiful friendship.

Meet the Crew {Lingerie Guide} - Ol' Blue
Ol' Blue came to us about a year ago and has been sitting in the closet with very little action although she is very beautiful. She features a beautiful deep blue satin fabric and a low cut back. This floor length beauty is everything you could ask for with lace inserts to show some skin while leaving everything up to the imagination. Ol' Blue is a size medium and is ready to serve you!
Faith {Boudoir Session}
I'm always so honored when people from out of town find my website or hear a recommendation and love my work enough to travel to my studio. It's literally one of the best feelings ever. Faith came to me from out of town and her session has been one of my absolute favorites. She was confident and so beautiful that it hurts. After her session, she loved her images so much that she is coming back for round two! {Which BTW is another one of the best feelings ever - repeat clients who just can't get enough of the confidence and self-love that comes with Boudoir.} We can't wait to see you again, Faith!
Meet the Crew {Lingerie Guide} - The Leia
We have an awful lot of black in our studio wardrobe and sometimes we need to add a splash of color! We're featuring a big splash of RED today! The Leia features a vibrant red color in a very unique shape. It ties on both sides so it is a very versatile piece, fitting many sizes. It shows a lot or a little skin depending on posing and what you are going for. Taylor {Boudoir Session}
One of the best parts about my job are clients who I can put in anything. Two days before my session with Taylor, I sent her a message saying "Do you trust me?" and thank goodness she said yes! I bought a pink gown that anybody else would have laughed at, but what looks good in real life and what looks good on camera aren't always the same. Taylor came in with her hair and makeup done and wore solely things from our wardrobe, including this pink gown, and she killed it.
Even if you think you have nothing to wear, we can find something for you, even do a white sheet session. We can surely make it work.

We don't just have clothing choices in the studio for you! We also have lots of fun props! This week we feature our amazing leather handcuffs. These leather handcuffs are sure to add a sexy element to your session! Featuring thick black leather cuffs with gold clasps and hooks, these cuffs aren't your regular handcuffs. They bring a more upscale yet still sensual aspect to the bondage scene. Lauren {Boudoir Session}
One of my favorite things about boudoir photography is that everyone is so unique. From birthmarks and scars to the way they wear their hair and the outfits they choose, every session is full of so many interesting things that showcase the lives of those in them. Lauren came to me unexpectedly when I had a last minute cancellation and she couldn't have rocked it harder. With rose colored hair in a pixie cut, fierce winged eyeliner and so much confidence she couldn't contain it, she was a rockstar before we even started. She is who she is and that's what makes her amazing.
Let yourself go. Don't be discouraged. Be unafraid of who you are.
Meet the Crew {Lingerie Guide} - The Vickie
A combination of black lace and red satin, this bodysuit is sure to thrill! It shows just enough on the sides to ensure maximum sensuality but keeps enough hidden to lead the imagination on a wild ride. Featuring red as its dominant color, The Vickie is great for Christmas and Valentine's Day themed sessions but is versatile enough to be used year round.

Katelyn {Boudoir Session}
In all my years of taking pictures, nobody has gone through the entire process as fast as Katelyn. From the time she decided to do a session, through the time it was edited and delivered to her was only 8 days! Even with that limited time frame, she still rocked her session in every way possible. She bought the absolute best strappy bodysuit and rocked some heels and a corset from our lingerie closet to finish out her look. Her hair and makeup were amazing. It all just fit. Sometimes when you know that you want to do something, the best thing to do is just make it happen.
"This was the best boudie call I've ever had," she wrote on our signature board. We love our clients, but even more than that, we love to see them happy. With us, with their lives, with their work. Life's too short to not enjoy yourself and get naked every now and then. Live a little :)
Meet the Crew {Lingerie Guide} - The Golden Cage
Our Golden Cage bra and panties set is one of my favorite sets. Purchased with the studio in mind, I was drawn to its beautiful design and detail. It is designed for maximum sexiness and it delivers every time. The gold and black lace offer both allure and a sense of class and can be made to look fierce, or seductive given the right circumstances. This set isn't for the faint of heart, it takes a tiger to wear The Golden Cage.

Kasey {Boudoir Session}
Sometimes doing a boudoir session isn’t something that people are ready to do. It often takes a lot of persuading, pep talks and sometimes some wine. I very often talk to people for months before their session assuring them that they’re skinny enough or young enough of pretty enough to do boudoir. I truly believe that every woman is beautiful just the way she is at whatever stage of her life she’s in.
I met Kasey three years ago and have been asking her to get in front of my camera ever since. We have become best friends and while she fully trusts me, loves my work and supports my business more than almost anyone else she hadn’t come over for her own shoot. This Christmas, under her tree she found a present from me containing a gorgeous piece of lingerie in her favorite color and a note that she was required to use it with me before she could use it for anything else. And it worked! She was in the studio the very next week and we giggled our way through her first -but hopefully not last- boudoir session.

Meet the Crew {Lingerie Guide} – The Taylor
The star of the Katie Larrington Boudoir Photography studio is The Taylor. She has been requested more than any other piece that we have, so much so that we ended up buying her in 2 more colors after her popularity grew so much so quick! I first saw this piece at a consignment shop in Salem and it was love at first sight, you know that feeling you get when you know as soon as you pick up clothes in a store, before you even put it on, that it’s going to be your favorite piece? It was just like that. The color was this awesome blush color and the ruffles were so big and beautiful! So elegant and vintage and amazing. I was with my boyfriend who thought it was the worst looking thing on the planet and I was determined to prove him wrong. Immediately after buying it, I texted one of my best friends who shares my love of vintage lingerie and she jumped at the chance to help me show him how beautiful it was. A week later, we shot with The Taylor and it was a hit! We posted it on Facebook and all of a sudden, I was getting messages left and right. Everyone wanted to know where they could find that lingerie and how they could shoot with it. People were loving it (and still are)! It is the first in our weekly Lingerie Guide series due to its rightful place as our most adored piece of lingerie.
All colors of The Taylor are size medium but have elastic waists to stretch to both small and large as well as off the shoulder ruffles to fit the largest selection of clients possible!
